Meet Dr. Vincent Boyle
Dr. Vincent Boyle is honored to take on new patients at Dr. McSurdy, Dr. Boyle & Team, continuing Dr. David McSurdy’s 40-year legacy of providing excellent and expert orthodontic care. After serving the Arlington, VA community for several years, Dr. Boyle is excited to return home to the Philadelphia area and serve Collegeville, Gilbertsville, and beyond!
Professional Background
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Boyle completed his undergraduate degree in Biology (with a minor in Business) at Villanova University. He went on to complete his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. He also received honors in community service for participation in the PennSmiles Bus, a mobile dentistry program that provides dental care to children in underserved areas and schools.
After his dental degree, Dr. Boyle spent the next three years in Charleston, SC, where he earned his orthodontic certificate and Master’s of Science in Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). During his orthodontic training, he was selected as a national finalist for the Eugene L. Gottlieb Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Student of the Year Award.
Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Boyle’s love for orthodontics stems from the amazing impact that it can have on building self-confidence in patients of any age. Every day, he is grateful for the ability to develop strong, trusting relationships with his patients and serve the community with a smile.
As an active member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Dental Association, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Boyle is committed to being a life-long learner and always staying on top of the newest technologies to best serve his patients.
Outside the Office
Dr. Boyle resides in Phoenixville with his lovely wife Samantha and their beautiful daughter Isabella. When he’s not thinking about crafting smiles, Dr. Boyle can usually be found playing golf, trying a new restaurant, or rooting for his Villanova Wildcats and Philadelphia sports teams!
