Traditional braces are the most recognizable form of Orthodontic care. Braces are applied directly to your teeth and straighten your teeth overtime. Many adults are often uncomfortable with the thought of having braces. Treatments such as Invisalign® are a great alternative. Invisalign® provides a set of trays that straighten teeth overtime. Once one tray has been used for around 2 weeks, the next set can be put in to continue the process. The trays are often clear and unnoticeable when worn.
Finally, AcceleDent® is a treatment that you can apply for 20 minutes a day. It is a mouthpiece with an activator. You simply turn it on then bit down firmly to hold it in place. It is important to use the device continuously for the duration of the time. It is also important to note that using the device longer won’t enhance the results.
