I have had many requests for this recipe over the years with many a satisfied customers. Preheat Oven to 350°F Beat together: 4 eggs ½ Cup fresh squeezed orange juice 1 Cup salad oil 2 teaspoons vanilla Add: 3 Cups flour ½ teaspoon salt 2½ teaspoons baking powder 2 Cups sugar Pare and slice very thin 4 large Granny Smith apples. The argument made was that people don’t buy based on the “what” it is you do so much as the “why” you do what it is that you do what it is that you do. In other words, when customers can “feel” the love or passion behind a product or service, they are more likely to be attracted to buying. Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. During dental health month The Smile Specialists offer a program in which we would come visit your school or organization and talk with young children about their teeth. The focus of the program is to educate children on healthy habits and discuss what happens at the dentist. The presentation is full of cute and funny teeth pictures, fun facts, as well as hands-on brushing and flossing skills. The greatest gift is our ability to make choices – and of course the freedom to make choices. But do we really give our children enough opportunities to make good choices? We begin by dressing, feeding, and entertaining our children as infants because they are unable to do so, until they have learned for themselves. Our first opportunity to empower them to make choices happens when they learn to speak. Then we can offer them choices and ask them to select. I believe that offering them 2-3 good choices, is good parenting. If I could begin again…rap music would not have been one of the choices. Nor would unlimited video games and or sugared drinks.
